A wish list


In order to help those of you who would like to give a us a gift, we have compiled a "wish list" of things we would like. To keep douplicate gifts at a minimal, please coordinate non-registry gifts through my sister, Beth [bethroberts4@gmail.com].

Though the items we've listed would be greatly appreciated, we are also accepting donations toward our "land fund" to help us purchase a piece of land of our own.

Pot luck dinner, with a menu

We've decided to do a potluck style dinner for the wedding, focusing on local, organic food. We are hoping that some of our Nashville friends will volunteer to make one of the dishes on the menu. We will supply everything!
Here's our menu:

Cured, Smoked Ham from Hill and Hollow
Ratatouille (with eggplant, squash, peppers, and tomatoes from our farm)
Rice Salad [Alessandra Bellos]
Tomato and Cucumber Salad (from our farm)
Baked Beans
Fruit Platter [Mark Wise/Rachel Patrick]
Garlic and Rosemary Potatoes (from our farm)
Baked Ziti (with our tomatoes) [Kate Bellos]
Sweet Corn

A one month engagement

So, Bret and I have been discussing marriage for the past couple months. Finally, we mentioned something about it to a couple friends, who encouraged us to go ahead and do it. So last Monday, July 6th, we decided to just choose a date and make it happen!

On August 8th, 2009 Bret Morris and I, Stephanie Roberts, will recognize our love in marriage, here on our farm in Nashville TN. We are thankful to all who are making arrangements to come, from Pennsylvania and beyond, to join us.
